The Mauritian Ministry of Tourism has established a set of standards regarding tourist's accommodation and the Government License is a legal obligation prior to the rental of accommodation for tourists.

This is of course a garantee for the tourist that the accommodation does exist, the identity of the owner is known and that the comfort/security levels are met.

Hence, there is no bad surprise awaiting the holidaymaker!
